Usually it’s all about logos and a bad shade of bright blue but this is possibly the prettiest media wall I’ve ever seen. Ever. Chanel hosted a dinner for Tribeca Film Festival Artist Awards last night and celebrities posed against a literal garden of full blown heavenly roses. That’s just how they roll.  

In love with this jacket. I’ve never owned something in this colour khaki before – it reminds me of Sicilian olives – and it’s such a cool change from black and brown. One of the great things to watch at a Chanel show are the celebrities and muses that attend dressed head -to-toe in the label. From mainstream mega-stars like Alicia Keys to bloggers from Spain and Japan. I’m particularly obsessed with Sama and Haya Abu Khadra, identical, socilaite turned buyer twins from Dubai.

Karl Lagerfeld created an aquatic underworld complete with giant stingrays, sea horses and coral reefs for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2012 show. The collection was full of classic Chanel – pastel pink, lemon and pistachio, pearls, layering and ruffles – and then modernised with sleek lines and black edges. They’re clothes to go dreaming in.
