Day 4 Pant Challenge (The Genie).

So harem pants aren’t really my thing. I lived through MC Hammer in real time and once around that block was enough for me.

My preferred adaptation of this pants trend is what I call the ‘Mini Genie’. As in “I Dream Of’. They have the relaxed fit and elasticised ankle of the harem but are slim fit through the leg.

These pants are from Sass & Bide and soft as silk pyjamas. Aside from the comfort factor the best thing about these pants is the pockets. Very, very important. If you plonk a pocket on the widest part of you hips then all they will do is amplify. You want pockets that drape down the leg. Like these. CLICK TO BUY

Do you own a Rolling Stones shirt? It’s time.

Even if you hate the band. The logo is such an iconic piece of rock/fashion art that it transcends the group and the music. I picked this jumper up in Tokyo. It combines all my favourite things – skinny sleeves, American flag and the emblem.

Watch is from Sportsgirl!? I thought it was a Rose Gold Rolex!! Gotta lurvvvvve Sportgirl….says I as I sit here typing in Leopard Slipper Flats from the Sdotgirl itself…. Paula you were so right when u said they do trend on a low budget well….you can still take part in current things fashion without blowing the budget.

Many thanks for the tip on these pants Paula! Love them and found them in a S&B boutique (plus a range of sizes instore at Brisbane Myer). They are similar to the “five minutes later’ style, which I bought last summer and are so comfy – love.
