Poor second, third, fourth etc babies the first just seems to get a little bit extra energy and attention..when there’s only one to focus on it’s just easier. So Saturday was all about revamp. I moved beds, changed soft furnsihings, added some of her art and a little bit of girly but more grown-up attitude.

There is something about Hermes china. I have a white cup and saucer (a lovely gift) that sits on my desk and I use it everyday. I swear the tea tastes better out of it. I like to use my beautiful things for the simplest of tasks – it adds a little bit of gorgeous to the everyday.

It’s always the little things…these candles are my new favourite thing. Made from natural soy wax they smell incredible and throw a really strong fragrance. But what I love the most is this little extra touch – a chic, branded box of matches that comes with every single candle.

Do you have a Juju Hat? These hangings come in many colours – I love the white and the white with fuschisa centre – and will change any space instantly.

I never tire of looking at pictures of this house – it’s incredible. The weekender of Aerin Lauder, Senior Vice President and Creative Director of Estee Lauder, makes me want to re-decorate. Actually move.
