With an outdoor runway, the Magdalena Velevska show was staged harbourside against a sun setting on the cities skyscrapers. It provided not only one of my favourite instagram shots of the week but was absolutely my favourite location.
Acid yellow, soft white, structure and sculpture – the collection was full of restrained pieces for the minimalist dresser. Lovely.
To tie in with Magdalena Velevska’s aquatic theme and fluid silhouettes, Renya Xydis for Wella created a sleek and modern wet look version of French rolls. This one’s a little tricky to re-create at home on your own – even the stylists at the show needed a step-by-step guide (pictured above)!
The neon lips were impossible to miss! The eyes were toned down with a soft peachy nude and barely an ounce of mascara. The skin was perfection, it took on the inner glow you would normally get from a week-long holiday.

“It’s the small details like fingers and toes that help tie together a final overall look. For Madgalena’s show, we wanted to choose accent colours that complemented the collection. We used Miss Frou Frou Flesh as the base colour and then accented half moons in different shades for each model.” Donna and Eva from Miss Frou Frou.
